Abstract

The study deepens "High-value agricultural areas as an element of dialogue between policies in Lombardy", reconstructing the problem and the main evidence developed in the text. The indicator is therefore aimed both at photographing the state of fact and to direct Member States' policies to strengthen the conservation of biodiversity. By calculating the indicator for the Lombardy Region Starting from the proposal of the National Rural Network (Trisorio et al., 2013), the Lombard Environmental Authority (2017) has developed a specific methodology for calculating the indicator in the 2014/2020 PSR of Lombardy Region. The PAI (A and B) bands in the Vulnerable Zone to the Nitrates are also recomprehensive, as in these areas the strong restrictions on soil use favour the permanence of habitats with high naturality. They are therefore considered the threatened species of plants, mammals, birds, insects and butterflies (of the Habitats Directive) whose life is linked to the presence of low-impact agriculture. Gradation of the score (no, low, medium, high, very high) is calculated by attributing to the cell the relative maximum score received in the 3 type.
