Dimensione territoriale e bisogni dei cittadini: i motori di una nuova strategia industriale europea
Abstract
The work examines 'Territorial dimension and citizens' needs: the engines of a new European industrial strategy', bringing into line the territorial dimension with the relevant economic and institutional aspects. The need for a new European industrial strategy There is a broad consensus in Europe on some very important common problems, indicating the need for a review of current economic policies in the European Union. A new European industrial strategy should also reorient the financial industry and large companies towards the use of profits in capital expenditure rather than in the repurchase of own shares and the distribution of dividends and should limit short-term speculative financial transactions. And they should also engage in concrete actions that meet the needs of all stakeholders (stakeholders). Clearly, the methodology of the so-called Juncker plan has been inadequate and new directives are needed for the European Investment Bank, but also lacks a European coordination of fiscal policies to promote investments of different types of enterprises, from small cooperatives to large foreign multinationals.
