Abstract

The article addresses “Stages of ownership in Italy: an open question”, placing the theme in the economic, social and territorial context discussed by the authors. The transformation models put into place, in particular from Germany, Spain and England, do not exhaust themselves in the mere physical requalification of the work, but open to innovative managerial logic. It is also planned to demolish the system to be dismissed, the reconstruction also with different volume and shape, the conversion or re-use of the stadium. Juventus, in synergy with the local administration, has adopted the traditional strategies of project financing, guaranteeing the economic sustainability of the project choosing the road of Brand Naming: attributing the name “Allianz Stadium” from the main sponsor who co-financed the work. A. (more simply Atalanta), who recently purchased the stadium “Atleti Azzurri d’Italia” from the Municipality of Bergamo, planning to start the works of realization of the new stadium by summer 2004. The examples cited show how private investment can be able to distribute benefits to the public, provided that the realization of works of collective interest represents a fundamental requirement for projects.
