Abstract

The contribution analyses «The social network analysis for the mapping of new places of work: subjects and networks», with attention to the context, the reading tools and the implications for policies. The article uses data from social networks, in particular Twitter, to analyze networks of relationships, communities of users and their characteristics regarding new workplaces (Coworking, Makerspace and FabLab) 1. These conditions can change over time, as shown in the case of Instagram that has modified, restricting them, their policy of access to data. Author processing for the FARB Lad project where, during the registration process, the user has compiled the field for the location, it is possible to trace back to the coordinates (lat, long) of each user. It was then decided to acquire all tweets that included in them the keywords “coworking”, “makerspace”, “fablab” throughout November 2017 through the Twitter API. In this way it was possible to know the number of tweets and those who contain links, hashtags, mentions (tags), retweets and answers.
