Abstract

The contribution analyses "ecological corridors and green infrastructure: a study on Sardinia", with attention to the context, the reading tools and the implications for policies. The map is realized by identifying a potential biological suitability of the Corine Land Cover cover classes, based on a study by the Sardinia Region (AGRISTUDIO et al., 2011), and an ecological integrity founded on the studies of Burkhard et al., 2012. Sawyer (2011) states that LCP algorithm-based approaches are particularly suitable for analyzing and designing corridors between species-based habitats. Subsequently, through the application of a discrete choice model (discrete choice model, DCM) an operational approach is defined to evaluate CE as elements of an IVM according to the territorial taxonomy of Lai and Leone (2017). A Logit model (Logit model, LM), i.e. a DCM in which the possible outcomes of the phenomenon to be characterized are two, therefore a dichotomic DCM. The overlapping of the EC and the territorial taxonomy of Lai and Leone (2017) Results The implementation of the methodology in the territorial context of reference offers the following results.
