Metropolitan cities between strategic planning and government of the territory: a comparative reading within a didactic workshop
Città Metropolitane tra pianificazione strategica e governo del territorio: una lettura comparativa all’interno di un laboratorio didattico
Abstract
The study explores « Metropolitan City between strategic planning and government of the territory: a comparative reading within a didactic laboratory», reconstructing the problem and the main evidence developed in the text. The search engine Google Scholar, questioned using the same keyword and imposing its contemporary presence in the fields “title” and “contained” the query returned a first set consisting of 260 papers. Approximately 3% of the results are technical reports on the official sites of the metropolitan cities, while the remaining part (about 6%) consists of contributions in collectible books. Within this cluster, many papers focus in particular on the comparative analysis between the Naples case and the Milan case. The data concerning the territorial extension, in fact, evidences a strong disparity between the metropolitan cities of Turin (7.000 kmq) and Naples (1.179 kmq). And final considerations The synthetic framework derived from the elaborations carried out shows a homogeneous situation regarding the production of Metropolitan Strategic Plans. For synthesis needs, the contents of the individually analyzed plans have been clustered because of the objectives that the same plan intends to pursue.
