Abstract

The study deepens "When the last will be the first: history of a virtuous territorial system in waste management", reconstructing the problem and the main evidence developed in the text. This demonstrates the strategicity of refusal as a “complete and symmetrical” element compared to goods, as well as the essential component of the life cycle of material goods (Viale, 2000). The poor attention shown, especially in South Italy, regarding the issue of waste management is a great challenge for those in a deficit scenario can see the potential of unpublished development and in some ways inexperienced. In the opinion of those who write, the result of excellence achieved by the ATO Brindisi 2 can be easily exported to the rest of the Apulian territory. In fact both the simplicity of the intervention implemented, and the identical socio/cultural characteristics of the region nothing dares that the example toast can operate from real benchmark “at zero km”. It is evident that it can be easier to move from the “floor to the roof”, more difficult, instead, it is to preserve before and exceed after results so important.
