Abstract
The contribution analyses 'human capital, universities and regional development', with attention to the context, reading instruments and policy implications. This article is taken from the author’s intervention at the Plenary Session of the Rectors of the Southern Universities “Human Capital, University System and Regional Development”, held on 14 September 2015 in Rende (CS), on the occasion of the last Scientific Conference of the AISRe. In view of the relevance and relevance of the topics dealt with, Redazione considered it useful to publish it and share it with EyesReg readers. As for the territory, it should first be said that the natural environment – water, air, soil – is in a condition of alteration and lack of defence to be considered unsustainable in terms where science defines “sustainability”. So this is the first knot to deal with, and it is a node that calls into question the Universities, the primary place of formation of the human capital we are talking about. It is a bitter reflection to do, but necessary if you want to get out of a condition of simple recrimination and claim, aim to regain credibility and to put yourself in a favorable way.
