EyesReg: ten years at the service of regional sciences

Abstract

The article addresses «EyesReg: ten years at the service of regional sciences», placing the theme in the economic, social and territorial framework discussed by the authors. With this strategy and this mission, the magazine has proceeded on its way for ten years, recording, with some fluctuations, a significant overall growth. The following statistical data help to understand the level of results achieved in the face of an activity that, having chosen the open source online mode, has involved a very low economic commitment for the Association. With reference to the main statistics on access to the site, we point out that in ten years of activity, EyesReg has totaled. We conclude with a thanks to the Association, which has contributed and supported the development of this adventure for ten years, recognizing its value. A heartfelt thanks also goes to the authors, referees, publishers of special numbers, to those who participated in the EyesReg events and to all those who have read and commented the articles of the magazine. The interest and commitment to the territory will continue beyond EyesReg and our “regional eyes” will always remain open and curious.
