Abstract

The study deepens "Capital, well-being and balance", reconstructing the problem and the main evidence developed in the text. Still, the institutional capital becomes an essential factor in creating conditions for the free unfolding of keynesian animal spirits and in general fostering positive tensions in cooperation, shared collective vision (Acemoglu and Robinson 2013). This new methodological effort (definition of strategies, objectives, indicators, monitoring methods) determines a new role for regional scientists, who on the interdisciplinary nature and the holistic approach base their epistemological status (Rota 2020). We are in balance when we walk or cycle because we balance weights, but even more relevant, our life is balanced if we give the right weight to the different dimensions of our existence: work, affections, culture, fun, spirituality. Aristotle already said this: “It is the right means that you have to choose, and not the excess or the defect, because the right means is as the right reason says.” Otherwise it is very likely that the lives of our children and their children are unhappy, desperate and short” (Dalai Lama).
