Abstract
The contribution analyses "The material legacy of Expo 2015: for a virtuous project of reuse and regeneration", with attention to the context, the reading tools and the implications for policies. The Bando was an obligatory stage in Arexpo's mission to ensure the public evidence of the unitary project offered by a possible developer. If, therefore, the intangible legacy will remain in the search for solid ties with the themes, subjects and international relations that the universal exposure will emerge, the material legacy will be able to focus on a wide critical reuse of the design and the plant that supports the exhibition installation under construction. Initiating from the structural elements (the hidden urbanization) of the Plate) that will allow to physically maintain the imprint of the universal exposure. The aim of reopening the site quickly, prefigured for some places a possible temporary use -fast post-coinvolving specific artifacts and equipment inherited, means reducing, in this way, the inevitable discontinuity of process. It is necessary to experiment with temporary uses to avoid abandonment and degradation and promoting urbanity in the already urbanized where the risks of abandonment and marginality become more critical every day.
